This policy describes the personal information that we collect from you, or that you provide through your use of the the 7SIGNAL Mobile Eye Application (the “Mobile Application”), the 7SIGNAL Mobile Eye Cloud Service (the “Service”), and/or the 7SIGNAL Solutions, Inc. website located at www.7SIGNAL.com (the “Website” and, together with the Mobile Application and the Service, the “Applications”) and how that information may be used or disclosed by us. This policy does not apply to information we collect through any other means, or to information collected on any third-party site or by any third-party application that may link to or be accessible from the Applications. Please read the following carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your personal information and how we will treat it. By using or accessing the Applications, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time and your continued use of the Mobile Application, the Service and/or the Website is deemed to be acceptance of such changes.

Children Under the Age of 13

The Applications are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information through the Applications. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Information We Collect About You

We may collect several types of information from and about users of the Applications, including: (i) user location, latitude, longitude and velocity, (ii) time, (iii) IP address, (iv) DNS address, (v) gateway address, (vi) network type and technology, (vii) operator name (cellular), (viii) terminal UDID, (ix) user ID and name, (x) device alias, (xi) terminal manufacturer, platform, model, and software version, (xii) used SSID name, (xiii) access point BSSID and manufacturer, (xiv) user notes, (xv) user email address and phone number, and (xvi) aggregation of observation or test data.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect and use the following information that you provide to us:

Information that you provide by filling in forms on or in the Applications. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the Mobile Application or Service and/or when you report a problem with the Mobile Application or on the Website.

Records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us.

Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

Usage Details, IP Addresses and Cookies, and Other Technologies

Usage Details and IP Addresses. As you navigate through the Mobile Application or Website, we may collect details of your usage, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data, and the resources that you access, as well as information about your mobile device, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users’ equipment, browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

Cookies. For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using cookies. A cookie is a small file stored on the hard drive of your device. Use of cookies helps us to improve our Applications and to deliver a better and more personalized service by enabling us to:

Estimate our audience size and usage patterns.

Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Application according to your individual interests.

You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users of the Applications. You further understand and agree that we will own all User Contributions.

Uses Made of Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, in the following ways:

analysis of data to better understand Wi-Fi environment;

comparison of observational data collected with enhanced tools to other available Wi-Fi performance data to support the development of improved products, services, and educational materials;

use of “blinded” data to support research activities;

to present our Applications in a suitable and effective manner for you and your device;

to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us;

to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;

to notify you about changes to our Applications; and

we may use the information we gather in an unidentifiable manner (with respect to any particular user) for analytics and trending purposes.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose personal information that you provide via the Applications to the following third parties or in the following situations:

our subsidiaries and affiliates;

our business partners to the extent necessary to enable them and us to provide the Service and make the Mobile Application available to you;

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Applications

Data Security

We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via mobile devices is not completely secure. Although we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Applications.
